Deaf or Hard of Hearing Services

American Sign Language (ASL) services

The Port Authority is committed to providing resources for passengers with hearing disabilities. LaGuardia partners with Convo Now to offer on-demand video interpreting in American Sign Language (ASL). This service is free and helps Deaf or hard-of-hearing travelers communicate with Airport Customer Service Specialists (ACES).

To use it:

  • Find an ACES wearing a red shirt at an Information Center near Baggage Claim.
  • Scan the QR code they provide to connect with a live ASL interpreter in your browser.
