Wheelchair services

If you need assistance such as a wheelchair, oxygen, or additional services, contact your airline before your flight to make arrangements.

Wheelchair attendants may accept tips but should never ask for one. If you experience pressure to tip, you can, report the incident.

Terminal B assistance call button

Terminal B has wheelchair assistance call button at the Departures level. Passengers looking for wheelchair assistance should follow the instructions with the wheelchair logo and underneath the sign you will find an assistance call button. 

Electric Cart Services

Electric cart service is available in Terminal C for customers needing mobility assistance. These carts transport customers on Level 3 between designated pick-up points on the 70s, 80s, and 90s gate concourses. There are also carts available on Level 2 to transport customers between the 60s and 70s gate concourses. The shuttles run on a continuous loop.

Using motorized wheelchairs or scooters 

You are welcome to use your motorized wheelchair or scooter throughout all terminals at LGA Airport. Contact your airline to find out if you will need to check your device before boarding or to ensure there is space to store your device in the airplane’s cabin.
